FYKIADA BEACH
- Fykiada can't be accessed by car or by motorcycle. The only ways to get there are by boat or by walking on the path, which leads gently downhill. Small Fykiada, which is only 150 meters long, will compensate you with its golden sand and the clear, blue waters. Moreover, it is a remarkable fishing spot, where on its bottom, which combines sand and rocks, you will be able to fish for red snappers, white sea breams, parrotfish, red mullets, and more. - Copyright © wondergreece.gr
VROULIDIA BEACH
Fykiada is a small sandy beach between Platy Gialou and the bay of Vathi. Near the beach is the chapel of Agios Georgios. Behind the chapel is one of the oldest olive trees on the island and there are traces of the old cart road. The beach is accessible from the sea and from the footpaths that start out from Platy Gialos or Vathi.
- You will find this beach in the northwestern part of the island on the way to Herronisos. At this easily accessible pebbled beach, there are restaurants and cafes as well as organized areas with umbrellas and sunbeds.
